In 1970, we established a rolling mill at the Dongnae plant to produce rebar, which is fundamental to the industry.

In 1990, we moved our headquarters to the new Shinpyeong plant, which had the capacity to produce 250,000 tons of rebar annually, and changed our company name to 'DaehanSteel.'

Beyond increasing production, we enhanced brand competitiveness by striving for higher quality through efforts to improve productivity and efficiency. In 2004, we were recognized for our quality by receiving the Best Award in the Steel Sector.

In 2024, DaehanSteel will continue to build on the foundation of 70 years of relentless challenges as we have done, and embark on new challenges for the next 100 years.
